The kootsu® skate guard for figure skaters puts the user's safety first. It’s wide treaded sole makes walking in the kootsu® skate guard safer. With it’s large cross-sectional area for the sole and heel (like a shoe) it provides a more secure footing for walking. The sole is molded in a high-grip elastomer that has a multi-cell patterned tread to maximize grip on smooth surfaces. In order to maximize safety, the skate guard is installed on the skate blade with minimal effort; no pulling force is required and a child can install these skate guards easily with one hand.
